Atomspheric :a shop and show

I’m in a show from March 19 – April 24, with Shawn Kam, Francis Bliven, and Leah Bowring at The Potters’ Studio in Berkeley, 1221 8th Street. We’ll be around to meet you on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-5pm.

All of the pottery in this shop/show is 4-sale and fired in a soda kiln: from wikiclay, “Soda firing is an atmospheric firing technique where “soda” is introduced into the kiln near peak temperature, usually 2350° or cone 10. The “sodas” used are sodium bi-carbonate, also known as baking soda, and sodium carbonate, which is also known as soda ash.”

Come say hi.
